Dr Peter Mouser
Dr Mouser is a senior Oral Surgeon who has worked at BMA House for over 30 years. Dr Mouser gained his degree in Dental Surgery at the University of Queensland, before moving to New South Wales. He attained a Master's Degree in Oral Surgery from the University of Sydney, with his training based at the Sydney Dental Hospital. Dr Mouser's areas of particular interest include orthognathic surgery (corrective jaw surgery) and dentoalveolar surgery. He is actively involved in the training of post-graduate students in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, as well as training Orthodontists, and enjoys the challenge of mentoring a new generation of specialists.
Dr Mouser's other interests include racing classic cars and fine wine.
Dr Stuart Deane
Dr Deane is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who gained honours degrees in both Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Sydney. He began his career as a dentist in rural Victoria before commencing specialist training. Dr Deane trained in Sydney and Newcastle, principally at Westmead and John Hunter Hospitals. During his training he gained experience in a wide range of complex maxillofacial procedures including orthognathic surgery, major trauma and oncological surgery of the head and neck. He commenced work with Dr Mouser in 2007 initially with orthognathic surgery cases, but joined the practice in 2009. His areas of interest are orthognathic surgery, implants, dentoalveolar surgery and oral pathology.
Dr Deane is currently Head of Department in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Westmead Hospital and is involved in teaching of training specialists, both practically and didactically. He enjoys the opportunity of helping registrars develop confidence and skills in their chosen profession.
Dr Anastasia Georgiou
Dr Georgiou is a specialist in Oral Medicine and Pathology. Dr Georgiou qualified in dentistry at the University of Adelaide, before moving to Sydney to undertake specialist training in Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology. She has worked as a Staff Specialist in Oral Medicine at Westmead Centre for Oral Health since 2003, and as a Clinical Lecturer for the University of Sydney. Her areas of interest are mucocutaneous disease, potentially malignant oral conditions, facial pain and burning mouth syndrome, paediatric pathology and patient education.
Gina is our friendly receptionist, who will be able to help with any enquiries, as well as making hospital bookings, and liasing with referring doctors.
Christine is an experienced surgical assistant who is skilled in ensuring that procedures in the surgery run smoothly and efficiently. Having worked in the practice for over 20 years, there is little she doesn't know about the practice or treatments performed within.
Phillip works in the sterilising room, maintaining the sterile instrument supply.
